About Beautiful People

You Are Beautiful People (Beautiful People) is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization formed in 2007 and based in Warwick, NY.

We imagine all of that and more. We have a vision of a community sports organization that would enable joy, inspire hope, and fulfill dreams among children with disabilities and their families. And so, Beautiful People, a non-profit organization, was born.

Our Mission

The mission of Beautiful People is to build bridges between children with disabilities and their families and the broader community of Orange County, NY by providing adaptive sports for children and young adults, ages 5-21.

Who's On First?
As part of the fullfillment of our mission, the first endeavor of Beautiful People will be to offer baseball to children with disabilities and their families. We have partnered with Miracle League, a national, non-profit organization that has been providing baseball for children with disabilities since 2000. Our Goals

Immediate Goal

We are recruiting for Spring and Fall baseball and soccer teams. Children with developmental and physical disabilities, ages 5-21 are eligible to play. Youth and adult volunteers are needed. For complete information, go to Miracle Baseball or contact us at 845-986-5944 or janb@beautiful-people.us.

Long Term Goals

Our long term goals are to:

• Build an accessible, rubberized baseball field that is safe and easy for children with physical and developmental challanges to navigate. This plan will include accessible restrooms, dugouts, a concession area, and hopefully an accessible playground by the field. Click here to find out more about our Miracle Field fund drive!
